Webinar ADHD en autisme – Engelstalig

20 juli 2021 @ 20:00 - 21:30

Op dinsdag 20 juli om 20.00 uur organiseert ADHD Europe de webinar:

ADHD en autisme – Engelstalig

ADHD often goes unrecognized, especially for those with above average IQ. Some, not all, kids and adults with ADHD also have autistic traits or Asperger Syndrome which often is overlooked. If ADHD, with or without autistic traits, is overlooked in kids or adults, they may struggle in schooling, employment and/or social relationships while not receiving effective support and care.

Spreker: ADHD specialist Dr Thomas E. Brown (VS )

Dr Thomas E. Brown, internationally-recognized psychologist and writer, will share an updated understanding of ADHD with and without complications such as autistic traits. He will also describe ways to provide effective support and treatment for those who struggle with such difficulties so these talented kids and adults can flourish. Dr. Brown will be interviewed by our host Hans van de Velde, vice-president of ADHD Europe and chair of the science committee of the Dutch ADHD association, Impuls & Woortblind.

In this webinar we will cover:

• The model of Executive Functions in ADHD, developed by Dr. Brown
• How to recognise ADHD complications such as autistic traits
• Effective support and treatment for those with complicated ADHD
